For the last 2 weekends, Hunter has competed at Aala skatepark in downtown Honolulu, for 2 separate skate competitions. She had an opportunity to skate with some of her top heroes and show them her tricks, as she attacked the rails, banks, ledges with consistency and style earning her top spot in one of the events. Congrats girl!

CB and Mimi went up to Vans two Sunday’s ago and helped out with a girl’s skate clinic there. With less than a week to promote, the turn-out was great! Over 40 girls showed up ready to skate… and hoopla was a hot topic! One little girl even drew a picture of our friend Amy and drew a hoopla t-shirt on her! CB and Mimi skated the combi afterwards- it was the last session before major demolition/reconstruction starting this week. No more plaster-combi! The new and improved bowl will be ready to skate in about a month.

Nikita Clothing’s marketing man, Geiri Höskuldsson, has the cutest little daughter!! After getting her hoopla skateboard in the mail, she insisted that she ride her skateboard to kindergarden this week!

This weekend the Hoopla girls attended an All Girl Skate Jam that was hosted by the International Girls Skateboarding Association Non-Profit at the YMCA in Encinitas, Ca.
