Hope your Fourth of July was a good one! Mimi skated Bucky’s yesterday on the 4th and it looks like she had a blast! She had a fun session with Duane, the Godoy Brothers, and some others. Lots of skating and lots of hot dogs and hamburgers! Photos courtesy of MRZ!
Boston was a success for hoopla! Mimi ended up placing 2nd after only two days of skating since April as she had a hurt knee.

This past weekend, Hoopla leaders Mimi and CB took a trip out to Nashville for the Vans Journey’s Backyard BBQ stop. In the midst of skating, the crew took a break and paid a special visit to the Vanderbilt’s Children’s hospital. Needless to say, Mimi and CB were incredibly inspired by these kids’ remarkable stories.

There wasn’t a ladies division this year at the Protec Pool Party, but CB Burnside entered the Masters division with the men! This event is always high energy and this year was no different.. CB ripped and placed 13th out of 23 Masters! Congrats to CB and all the guys that skated the event! We we hyped to have our hoopla booth there this year too…Thanks to Steve Van Doren and Vans!

Hoopla skateboards was a proud sponsor of the 7th Annual Mighty Mama Skate-O-Rama this past weekend! This annual event is hosted by the Skateboard Moms and its community service project Rolling for Reading, features skateboarding women of all ages and abilities rolling for fun, fitness, and sisterly stoke! The skate moms started off their weekend by skating at CB’s mini-ramp and the Iguana bowl on Saturday. Check out the pics below taken by Mimi & Chris Zsarnay!
